MFW E-Board Pick: Gucci

Gucci’s Fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection was dark, dramatic, and intense. With a neutral and black palette accented by berry, burnt orange, and peacock blues and greens, Frida Giannini created a collection that wowed with different patterns, textures, and silhouettes. Standout fabric included metallic brocade and crackle-textured leather earlier on in the collection. Feathers and sequins adorned the sheer, mesh-like fabric of the final dresses evoking images of wild, exotic birds. I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of these dresses on next season’s red carpets!
